Korea Coast Guard announced that KCG has published an English-brochure which states achievement of KCG responding to COVID-19 and measures taken by KCG to Coast Guards and the Agencies with coast guard functions around the world. The English brochure is categorized into nine contents by following ① modified ways in conducting inspection under COVID-19 ② Illegal activities and cases of inspection under COVID-19 ③ public support service ? disinfection of vessels capable of carrying many people ④ Measures for transportation of suspected COVID-19 patients ⑤Implementation of Outdoor Auxiliary Police Recruitment Test.
The brochure, about 30-pages, will be distributed to eighty Coast Guards and the Agencies with coast guard functions around the world to combat COVID-19. A Korea Coast Guard officer said that “As attention is being given to the Republic of Korea’s systematic Prevention measures to COVID-19 and its results, the KCG has published the English-brochure to share this information and experiences to related agencies around the world.”, and “We will do our best to collaborate internationally in hopes to provide realistic help in overcoming COVID-19”.
